School IT Infrastructure
With young children having access to classrooms, Health and Safety was of paramount concern during this project to introduce broadband cabling to 6 comprehensive and 30 primary schools.
Responsible for the installation and commissioning of the LAN structured cabling system, fibre optic networks and active equipment, the project involved close co-ordination with BT for positioning and connection of the incoming broadband cabling.
Having a duration of 12 months, the project was largely completed during half term breaks by a team of up to 20 engineers, all of whom were CRB checked and approved.
